Study of a Waxing Gibbous Moon

This was my first time using a mirror lens and I think it turned out alright. Next time I will use the digital zoom on my camera to isolate certain areas on my monitor and ensure that my focus is accurate; it always appears to me that the bottom of the moon is more in focus than the closest part of the sphere—though that may be to do with the play of shadows around the edge of the dark side. Of course the ISO is higher than optimal here, and I know now to use a lower ISO and slower shutter speed to compensate, but a silver-lining is that when I applied the colour shifts, some of the digital noise gives the moon a kind of spray-painted effect.
I don’t often make dramatic graphical edits on Photoshop but I feel that the moon is the perfect subject for two-tone experiments.
