If you’re looking for interesting and elegant subjects to photograph then the Royal Pavilion offers them in spades, even if the sensibility behind its design choices is an unabashedly Orientalist one—to the point of some of the interior design choices being outright laughable. 

I was hoping to create a ‘planet’ style photo of the Brighton Pier, and I shot many panoramas for it, but I think with so many moving people Photoshop had issues stitching the photos together. In this situation, I think a 360-degree camera would perform better.

When I return to Brighton I’d love to get some photos from within the i360 tower, both telephoto and landscape. I’ll be sure to purchase a polarising filter for the occasion as I don’t think you can photograph from up there without thick glass surrounding you.
